Genuinely some of the nicest ladies I’ve ever met. Super accommodating to your requests for wash/fold and all of their equipment is clean and tidy. If you’re looking for a laundromat this is the place to go.

I just moved to the Upper East Side and was looking for a laundromat to handle some dry cleaning. Since this spot was close by, I decided to give it a try, and I’m glad I did! The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the paperwork was quick and simple. Their online system makes it easy to know when your items are ready, which is super convenient. The machines are clean, and there’s even a small outdoor seating area to sit while waiting. My dry cleaning came back perfectly done. Overall, 10/10 I’ll definitely be returning!

This was my first time at this laundromat, and the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. She patiently taught me how to use the machines since they were different from the ones I was used to. The place is very clean, organized, and has a friendly atmosphere. She even helped with money exchange, which made everything so much easier. Her smile and hospitality truly made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend this laundromat!

Amazing and clean place! I was afraid to do my laundry outside my apartment. I moved to NYC for an exchange semester and was looking for a place with high hygienic standards. UES Laundromat was amazing in every aspect. The lady working there was very kind and always helped me find an empty washing machine, get change, and since she knew I was very into hygiene, she had wipes ready for me. Can’t recommend it enough.

If I could give this laundromat 10 stars I would! I was new to the UES from the UK and had never used a laundromat before - Sylvia and her daughters were so welcoming and helpful and took the time to explain everything, and it was great to chat and get to know them. You can tell that they really care about their customers and providing the best service they can! The place is clean, reasonably priced and has new and well maintained machines. If you’re looking for a laundromat on the UES - this is the one!

This place is incredible. Silvia and her daughters have managed to create the perfect space for doing such a necessary and sometimes tedious task as laundry, in a quick and friendly manner. The service is exceptional; they are very kind and proactive people, helping you and providing solutions to everything you need. Their machines are always clean and the place is always tidy. Best of all, they are pet-friendly. Every time I take my dog, Piwi, they offer lots of love and a treat. It's the best service. Highly recommended!

We LOVE the ladies who run this spot! Incredibly friendly, fantastic service, warm environment (not something I thought I’d ever write about a laundromat!) Drop off service is incredibly reliable; they text you once it’s done, always remember their customers! Best spot in the neighborhood.

I almost didn’t want to write them a review so it doesn’t get more crowded but UES Laundromat is easily the best laundromat in NYC. It’s family-owned and Silvia and her daughters have done an excellent job of making a mundane chore much more enjoyable with their friendly and courteous customer service that’s rare to find nowadays. They are always friendly and willing to help. My favorite part is how CLEAN this laundromat is. The machines are new and well-maintained. Most laundromats nearby are grimy and you take a gamble with every use if your clothes are going to make it out okay but UES Laundromat has new, clean machines so you can wash your clothes with pride.
